Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma received Greek Mr. Yorgos Papandréu and Estonian Mr. Eerik-Niiles Kross, members of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in his office on 14 June 2022.

Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma attended the celebration of the International Ombudsman Institute, IOI in Vienna on 7 June 2022.

Dr. Ákos Kozma attended the conference organised in the Vienna Parliament for the 10th anniversary of the mandate of the Austrian Ombudsman Board in the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, i.e. OPCAT, as well as the 45th anniversary of the operation of the Austrian Ombudsman Institute on 7 June 2022.

At the IOI Europe Annual General Assembly in Sounion, Greece, Andreas Pottakis, the European President of the International Ombudsman Institute (also known as the IOI), the Greek Ombudsman, expressed his appreciation for the exceptional work of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Dr. Ákos Kozma and his office's presence at the border to directly assist refugees from Ukraine. The IOI Regional President assured the Commissioner of the full support of the international community.

Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary was hosted by Irish Ombudsman Ger Deering in Dublin on 2 June 2022.

Dr. Ákos Kozma took part in the conference organised by the European Federation of National Organisations working with the Homeless (FEANTSA) on 2-3 June 2022.
